May updates

Good Evening,

I ran a little late getting this out. We have many projects going on at this time and you can read about them when the newsletter starts again. Right now the editor is experiencing issues that preclude him from posting it.

While establishing a microwave network may seem limited in our perspective, it will be used by the hams, county 911 centers, and statewide radio system eventually. The microwave network is part of a larger statewide Ethernet network consisting of both fiber, statewide microwave, and Joint Task Forces microwave. I have a phone conference with Lawrence County this Friday to talk about how we can make their microwave build out cheaper by sharing resources by interconnecting our two systems. As hams, we know the value of communications and today is no different, except we are going from analog to providing a high speed digital statewide network. Connecting Pennsylvania together one county at a time.

Kevin continues to work diligently on multiple mountaintops or multiple clubs, keeping Central PA transmitting. His contribution cannot be underestimated.

Everyone please email or mail the ballot back before June.

Everyone please mail back with payment and for the life members they can email it back to me to update your information.

Thank you,
