Samuel P. Lanza – SK – K3KJS
                        – July 1, 2017, Age 89

Samuel P. Lanza, 89, of Lower Paxton Twp., passed away Saturday, July 1, 2017, at his home.
He was the widower of Genevieve (Bowman) Lanza.
Mr. Lanza was veteran of the U.S. Marines having served during the Korean War.
He was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Church.
Samuel was a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School.
Belonged to the Susquehanna Valley Harley Owner’s Group.
He enjoyed ham radio.
Surviving are his daughter, Susan Lanza and her husband, Dennis Dreier of Lewisberry; and a son, Samuel P. Lanza, Jr. of Tampa, FL; brother, Fred, and sister, Anna Marie (Catalano), both of Harrisburg; brothers, Charles, of Middletown, James, of Camp Hill, and sister, Francie, (Pease), of Camp Hill; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Junior and Carlos.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, July 7, 2017, 11:00 a.m., at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 6150 Allentown Blvd, Harrisburg, PA 17112 with the Very Reverend Edward J. Quinlan as celebrant.
Visitation will be from 10-11:00 a.m. at the Church.
