Clifford H. Tooker, Jr., 68, of Harrisburg passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015, at Carolyn Croxton Slane Residence, Harrisburg. He was the loving husband of Carol (Chace) Tooker..
Born September 17, 1946, in Mineola, NY, he was a son of the late Clifford Sr. and Mary (Adams) Tooker.
He spent much of this childhood growing up in Port Washington, NY.
Cliff’s love of the outdoors began at an early age with Scouting.

He was a Life Scout and an Order of the Arrow member.
He attended college at Baldwin Wallace College in Berea, OH, majoring in paleontology and geology.
After college, he was a VISTA volunteer in the Upper Peninsula of MI.
Cliff met and married his wife in Negaunee, MI.
After moving to the Reading area, he worked as a zoning administrator for the city and had a backpacking and camping store.
When he moved to Harrisburg, Cliff worked as a photographer and for Non-Sport Card Update.
He was a supporter of Planned Parenthood;
a member and past president of Harrisburg Camera Club and Friendship Force of Greater Harrisburg.
For many years he was a member of Harrisburg Hunters and Anglers
,the Secretary/Treasurer of William Penn Pistol League and worked at Walter Wise Pistol Match.
Cliff enjoyed hosting foreign students for Christmas International House.
Cliff travelled around the United States and the world from Thailand to Turkey.
His greatest love was being out of doors and photographing birds and flowers.
In addition to his wife, Cliff leaves behind
cousins Bob and Pat Gaffney, Jane Camerer,
five nephews and many wonderful friends around the world.
Also Mykhailo’s and Gokhan’s smiles, and the joy and love of Asli, Suleyman, Mira and Belis.
Services are at the convenience of the family.
